Battle of the books

At our school,We started a contest called Battle of the Books.In which you read books from the approved list and then take a verbal test on that book."I think it's a challenge to get children to read books"said a fourth grade student.Some of the books include:A bear named trouble,Cabin on trouble creek,Say what,Drita my home girl,and Christopher mouse.

Today, I started in a basketball league.I love football,baseball,and basketball and last year, I had a baseball coach and he is now my basketball coach.We had our first practice last night.First we practiced layups in which you dribble to the basket and take your hand and lift the ball, jump, and do a half slam dunk.Next we worked on our passes.Chest pass, Bounce pass,and Over-the-head pass.And finally we did a two on three defence on offence drill.That was my first practice.

Today at school, we had to practice the mile run. At our school, we have to do a physical fitness test.We have to:Run a mile in under a specific amount of time,A v-sit reach,pull-ups,and much more.When we ran, I did it a few minutes over the time.As I said,This is the Start of torture.
